“Leadership has no kryptonite”

And another year goes by! Sitting here, writing this now, it made me realize the amazing powers of LDC. I mean really, how just in the matter of 4 days these groups of amazing people are able to bond so fast ♥

It’s so special~ Everyone mass friend requests each other, Facebook groups are created, clans skype/ have chats together, reunions are always in talk, etcetc

Of course there were some up and downs, to jokesters (-_-) and really shy ones. But nevertheless, people would slowly open up and let them be immersed in this experience(: I really love how my clan pulled through in the end, so prouddd! I am a bit sad though tbh - I really wished Sarah went :((( and I feel that I was pretty MIA overall for my clan since I was gone/busy at most parts =/ sighs…iunno I feel there was wasted potential and that we could have been a lott closer, whompwhomp. It is a different experience as a delegate and a staff. But there were some amazing kiddos in my clan and I’m totally pushing them to be staff next year :3

But damn, I love my fellow staff members ♥ Such an amazing bunch~ That each of us share similar qualities of passion/service work/etc; that we’re here because we want to.

Pretty surreal how I almost didn’t do LDC last year though, since it was a last minute ‘why not’ thing + I didn’t even know anyone. But thank god (<3!) that life always plays itself out - because of that one last minute decision, it has opened so many doors, allowed me to meet so many amazing people, and made me experience so many wonderful memories (=

“You guys are so busy doing your jobs and making sure camp is great for all the delegates that you don’t really get the time to appreciate each other.” Now that I think of it, we didn’t even become close till LDC either (even after all those numerous meetings). I’ve gotten close to so many amazing people <3 That closing activity we did for each other on the last night, ahhh my feels ♥ I felt so damn happy (= So flattered! The taps I got and the taps I gave <3 - “tap someone who made you laugh, tap someone who you think will be your lifelong friend.” Those sleepless nights of just fooling around and enjoying each others company. Just…I love you guys so much ♥ 

Can’t wait for a reunion! (=

2 hours of sleep TWO NIGHTS IN A ROW….

so sleep deprived and exhausted to the point where some of us were high, hyper crazyasses HAHAHA. Twas a badass on Tuesday night, HARHARHAR. Last night was <3. SO after LDC I went to the fcking movies LOLWTF, so fcking tired that I seriously had to force myself awake X___X

I haven’t ate lunch or dinner, LAWLZ. SCU food doe, toomuchtoomuch

Here goes my post about the amazing four days I had ~ All in all, I’m just really happy I went and I’ll forever remember all the memories (= 

My mom always asks: Why are you doing this? None of your friends are doing it (wtff). I just want to do it. Meet new people, gain new experiences, learn new things. And of course, it was worth it!

This actually made me realize how much I have changed through the years. I basically went to this barely knowing anyone (with the exception of maybe 2). I used to be really shy, rarely talked, and it was hard for me to open up - especially when I feel that everyone else knows each other already. Now I can just randomly say hi to people, hold a legit conversation, and be totally weird already, LOL. All the amazing people I met and got to know in the past few days <3 

I’m also really happy I got to be in the Blueberry Waffles ! We’re amazing :3 The teamwork for the skit, clan anthem, and dance battle <3 + All the games we played xD We were so boss in the trivia and seach&rescue too :3 It was pretty funny trolling around with my secret buddy, lmao. “I WATCH YOU WHILE YOU SLEEP” + “I LIKE YOU, DO YOU LIKE ME? CIRCLE ONE: YES OR NO YES” Although the person that had me sucked balls, so effing pissed. THE DANCE WAS REALLY FUN THOUGH, WOOT WOOT. 

SCU is so gorgeous ! Too bad it’s so close to home, lawls. Pretty sure I gained 5 pounds, cafeteria food and me do not work out. Also had to do Grey Squirrel, DAT ASS, LMAO. OH, there were 2 really cute guys I had a crush on, HEHE. + I learned some Cantonese and Japanese ! :D Most importantly, certified in First Aid and CPR for another 2 years, YAY ! It sucks that I get tired really easily though =( So I might (potentially) apply for staff next year, we’ll see ~ Kays, I’m gonna go read all my affirmations and notes again, I MISS EVERYONE ! <3 WAFFLES FOR LIFE
